Trapeze Group-ST Engineering consortium has secured contracts worth over USD175 million from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to upgrade technology in Singapore’s public bus fleet including fleet management system, fare collection, and power and communications systems. South Korea-based LS Electric has secured a contract from the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) to supply the signalling system for a 177-km-long rail line between Ban Phai and Nong Phok. The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has commenced a free trial of its new smart parking system in Bangkok.
