One of our favourite photographers and friend of Cult Kits, Kane Hulse as set off once again on a tour of one of Europe's historic clubs. The results are unsurprisingly glorious and make the viewer feel like they're with him as he captures the ground and supporters on match day. In a whistle-stop tour, London based photographer Kane Hulse, once again has looked to explore more journal like photography from a match day. This time it was Feyenoord, where fans, burger vans, flags and of course the stadium were all shot. Just as visits to Arsenal and Marseilles have proven what Kane capt ..read more

IPSWICH TOWN - A FAIRYTALE WE'LL NEVER FORGET

Sometimes you know you’re living in a moment that you’ll never forget – and when you do, you have to take a few seconds to absorb what is happening, to remember how it felt, sounded, looked. As the clock ticked down on one of the greatest seasons in Ipswich Town’s proud history yesterday, I diverted my eyes from the pitch for a few moments and gazed around at the sea of expectant faces inside Portman Road. It was a reminder of just what a football club means to those who follow it. Ipswich were last in the Premier League in 2002. In the years – sorry, decades – since then, Town fans endured a ..read more

Goalkeeper turned photographer. It's not something you expect as a career path now is it. Well, Chaz bucks that trend with photography of a journalistic style which makes the imagery captured look effortless, when it's anything but. Growing up a stone's throw from the Parc des Princes, Chaz dreamt of one thing – becoming a footballer. Now 32 and having passed through the ranks of Rennes and Le Havre AC as a goalkeeper, the pursuit of artistic excellence through photography is now the goal. We caught up with the Parisian photographer who has one many admirers ..read more

To celebrate the 50th edition of These Football Times (our favourite football magazine FYI), we were asked to compile a list of the 50 greatest football shirts ever. It was a task that nearly broke us because there are SO MANY bonafide classics to choose from. Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder so if you don't agree with our picks, we can only apologise (please tell us what we missed or got wrong in the comments below). Right, let's get into it...     Denmark - 1986 Home     One of the great templates – the only question was which should we pick. Covent ..read more

The return of the Cult Kits Artist Showcase series, sees us catch up with an artist who captures the charm and elegance in the moments of football, we all treasure. This artist is, Camilo Ortiz. It was the image above, posted on Camilo Ortiz's Instagram feed which immediately alerted us to this artists talents. Capturing a single moment from the 1998 World Cup in France, when Zizou rose like a salmon against a Brazilian defence. Just look at it... It's a masterpiece. So, there was only one thing to do and that was to reachout to Camilo and ask if they would speak to us. Lucky for us, (and you ..read more

It's not often that a photographer shoots for TIME magazine, global brands as well as being the Creative Director for a semi-pro soccer team. Jared Soares is that photographer, a master of his craft and probably one of the most humble too. Jared's work has featured for the soccer culture elite, such as Soccerbible and adidas and we've been in love with some of his imagery for some time now. We were lucky enough to share a few shirts with the Washington D.C. based photographer for a private shoot. The results, (as we expected) only emphasised our admiration for his work and talent,&nb ..read more
