Saturday 15th June was a significant day for British Wrestling as we hosted Fierce Females our first-ever female-only wrestling competition at the British Wrestling Academy in Salford. Welcoming 38 girls from across the nation, this groundbreaking event was a resounding success, crafted in direct response to feedback received throughout our ongoing initiatives. All medalists from senior categories at the recent 2024 British Wrestling Championships will be invited to attend. British Wrestling is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a National Squad Selection Weekend on July 20th and 21st at The Academy in Manchester. Selections will be held for the U15, U17, and Development Squads (U20 and U23).   All athletes currently on the national squads will be automatically invited.
