This year’s event shattered records and proved the sport of women’s roping is only continuing to grow. With nearly 200 breakaway ropers and a record-setting team count in the team roping, 2024 was one for the record books. The induction of WPRA members into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame commenced in 2017, and Barrel Racers Marlene (Eddleman) McRae, the 1983 WPRA World Champion and Jeana Day, the 1974 WPRA World Champion expressed their elation at joining this esteemed cohort.
