The first vines were planted on the Naked Mountain Winery property in 1976 by Bob and Phoebe Harper after having discovered that where peaches will grow, grapes will grow, too. They aptly named the winery after the mountain the property sits on, Naked Mountain, and began to develop the property adding a winemaking facility and tasting room within the next few years.
