Kauai County Farm Service Agency Is Accepting Emergency Conservation Program Applications
(LIHUE, Hawaii), May 22, 2019 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director CED Calvin Threat today announced that Kauai County is accepting applications for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) to address damages from the April 2024 Kona storm. ECP signup begins today and will end on July 22nd, 2024.

(Barrigada, GUAM), May 17, 2024 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Executive Director Ilene Iriarte in Guam County today announced that FSA is now accepting applications for the Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) for grazing losses due to drought. The deadline to apply for 2024 LFP assistance is Jan. 30, 2025.

Hawaii, May 16, 2024 – Through the Organic Certification Cost Share Program (OCCSP), USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) will cover up to 75% of organic certification costs at a maximum of $750 per certification category. FSA is now accepting applications, and organic producers and handlers should apply for OCCSP by the Oct. 31, 2024, deadline for eligible expenses incurred from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024. FSA will issue payments as applications are received and approved.
