It was 2019 when Cavalry secured a historic win over the Whitecaps in their away leg at BC Place, but for history to repeat itself they’ll need to dig deep after dropping the first leg two-one at home.
The Canadian Premier League side hosted the ‘Caps tonight for the first leg of this year’s quarter-final cup match, succumbing to the loss after a Levonte Johnson rocket stunned them just before half-time, with the forward adding a second late in the game. Forge and CF Montreal played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Canadian Championship quarter-final. The result ended the Hammers’ four game winning streak to start the campaign.
