COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State graduate student Neal Shipley certainly had a week he won’t soon forget. Shipley made the cut in his first Masters Tournament, earned low amateur honors and enjoyed a Sunday round at Augusta with Tiger Woods. His scores were important but irrelevant compared to the experiences of the week. He shot rounds of 71-76-80-73=300 (+12) but was the lone amateur to make the cut and spent Sunday evening inside Butler Cabin with CBS’s Jim Nantz and champion Scottie Scheffler. He received the Silver Cup for being the low amateur. The only other Buckeye to earn the Sil ..read more

As we enter year three of the Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson era, we are left with waiting until Day 2 of the NFL Draft to see what the team might do. That’s because the Browns sold the farm (3 years of 1st round picks) to get Watson. Despite this, the Browns organization and General Manager Andrew Berry have still put together good teams on paper. That was shown in a variety of ways in the past, culminating in an 11-6 record a year ago and a playoff appearance. Many analysts of the Browns currently believe that the team they have put together, including the addition of players li ..read more

Cleveland Oh. – So, after all that, the Cavs have clinched the playoffs and likely will be a top four seed. The Cavs beat the Pacers 129-120 behind Donovan Mitchell’s 33 points and Jarrett Allen double double 29 and 13 boards. The Cavs needed this win over the Pacers to gain control and make sure they stay out of the Play-In. Photo via Cavs The Cavs came out strong scoring 35 points in the opening quarter. There was a sense of urgency the Cavs played with for the first time in a while. It led to a 14-point first half lead that the Cavs never relinquished. While the Pacers did make a run, the ..read more
