Overall Rating: “A Marine never says die. Neither does his princess.” I don’t read romcoms as much as I should, and this one has really made me crave another one! The one thing that sometimes puts me off is the fact that the stories are all quite similar in format, but this book wasn’t like that at all… in fact, it completely paves it’s own path. A Marine veteran and a prissy gym-goer wouldn’t be a pair I’d put together, but this book just works so well! So happy to be sharing my review for Losing My Breath by the lovely J Rose Black! Overall Rating: “Every second, every minute, makes both of us better. You feel that too, don’t you?” My final holiday read of the year *sob* but what a book to end on! Had so much fun with Wreck the Halls, and even though is wasn’t as Christmassy as I’d expected, it still gave off the warm, uplifting vibe I wanted to end the year on. It’s a solid romcom with such a great plot – so happy to be sharing my review of my first Tessa Bailey book! About the book Melody Gallard may be the daughter of music royalty, but her world is far from glamorous. She spends her days restoring old books and a ..read more

Overall Rating: “No matter what happened tomorrow, she would always have the memories of the good things that happened today. What more could she ask for?” What a truly delightful Christmas read! I am well and truly getting into the Christmas spirit, even though we’re still a bit early… (hehe!) It’s rare to find short, easy to read books for when you just want to relax and not use too much brain power, and this book was just the delightful, feel-good book I needed right now. Overall Rating: “One day to change fate…” My first Christmas read of 2023 and I don’t even care if it’s too early! Saying that, the Christmas themes in this one aren’t as strong as others I’ve read, so I think I can just about get away with it! I wasn’t prepared for the emotional rollercoaster I went on with this book, but One Christmas Morning is definitely one of the best of its genre. Heartbreaking, yes, but also filled with warmth, hope and love. I’m so happy to be sharing my review of this one on publication week! About the book They say you know when you meet the one. Overall Rating: “One’s a wish, two’s a kiss.” One of my favourite ladies is back with the final book *sob* in the Cranley Wishes Trilogy! With each new Audrey Davis book comes a story even more brilliant than the one before it (even though I love them all!) and A Wish For Wilma certainly doesn’t disappoint. If you love rom coms and are curious about how they’re written with a hilarious supernatural twist, Audrey is the author for you, and I’m confident you’ll love these books. I’m thrilled to be sharing my review! About the book Getting old may not be a bundle of laughs, but Wilma Cooper i ..read more

Overall Rating: “For the end of the world, Earth was looking pretty damn good.” WOAH. What have I stumbled upon here?! It’s been a long long while since I’ve read anything sci-fi related, but I warmed to this book straight away. The characters, the world building and the description was perfect. In fact, everything was perfect. So happy to be sharing my review for My Love Life and the Apocalypse! About the book Planet Earth Sucks. Humans have gone and cities are empty, looked after by bots.
