WASHINGTON  — A driver died after a vehicle crashed into a gate at the White House Saturday night, but the fatal collision is being investigated “only as a traffic crash” and there was no threat to the president’s residence, law enforcement authorities said. The male driver, who was not immediately identified, was found dead in the vehicle following the crash shortly before 10:30 p.m. at an outer perimeter gate of the White House complex, the U.S. Secret Service said in a statement. KYIV, Ukraine  — As Ukraine marked its third Easter at war, Russia launched a barrage of drones concentrated in Ukraine’s east and claimed its troops took control of a village they had been targeting. Ukraine’s air force said Sunday that Russia had launched 24 Shahed drones, of which 23 had been shot down by air defenses. Six people, including a child, were wounded in a drone strike in the eastern Kharkiv region, regional Gov. Oleh Syniehubov said. The Gallery of Success at Brookside High School, 1812 Harris Road in Sheffield Village, will add three new members this year. Essentially, the gallery serves as the school’s hall of fame, according to Sheffield-Sheffield Lake School District Board of Education member Sandra Jensen. Avon Lake needed a spark after going 3-11 coming back from their spring break trip in early April with a 5-1 start. Hosting Rocky River on May 4, the Shoremen found exactly what they were looking for. The  Allen Memorial Art Museum will close for the summer starting May 27 in the lead up to the completion of Oberlin College and Conservatory’s Sustainable Infrastructure Program (SIP), according to a news release.
