ELIZABETH GONZALESTobago Correspondent Shark attack victim, British national Peter Smith, will leave Tobago within the next 24 hours. In a update sent to the media, Secretary of the Division of Health Wellness and Social Protection, Dr Faith B.Yisrael confirmed: “Arrangements have been made for Mr. Peter Smith to be airlifted out of Tobago to Miami within the next 24 hours.” Smith remains critical but stable at the Scarbrough General Hospital. Boy, 15, dies in crash while sister hospitalised

A 15-year-old boy lost his life in a road traffic accident along the Priority Bus Route, on Sunday night, while his sister remains injured in hospital. The deceased has been identified as Alejandro Sookhoo, of Glenside Gardens, Tunapuna Road, Tunapuna. The Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association (THTA) is urging the public to observe and adhere to the safety guidelines issued by TEMA and the Tobago House of Assembly at beaches in Tobago, following last Friday’s shocking shark attack at Turtle Beach.
