It’s all about the guest experience.
Most couples pay a lot of attention to the guest experience as they go through planning their wedding. Asking questions like – Will your guests have fun? Do they have any allergies? Do you need to provide transportation? Etc. Yet, how often do the questions “Who can’t drink alcohol?” and “Do we have fun non-alcoholic beverages?” get asked, which can leave out some of the guests that y ..read more

Food trucks are such a fun and engaging way to entertain your guests!
I always say that we have a love-hate relationship with food trucks. When done well we LOVE them, but there are a lot of things to consider to make sure that they are done well. So, what things do you need to consider and plan for in order to make a food truck a success for your wedding?
Where will your food truck park?
Be sure to consider where your food truck can park, and when they can park there. For example, making sure that they aren’t going to crush flowerbeds, be too far away from the location of the dinner, block ..read more

Before you send out your wedding invitations, you might be sending out Save the Dates. If you are, what needs to be on your wedding website by the time those go out?
Kirsten Holliday Photography
Keep it simple.
When you send out your Save the Dates, you won’t have all of your wedding details lined up yet. That’s ok! (Note: If you are having RSVPs tracked through your website, make sure you have this function turned off for now.)
Here’s what you’ll need:
Your names and personal story.
How did you meet? When was your first date? What’s your proposal story?
Engagement photos! Show them off!

You’re almost ready to send out invitations, and you’ll need to collect your RSVPs, but is that the only purpose of your wedding website? A great tool for keeping all your loved ones that you’re inviting from asking you a hundred questions, your wedding website acts as an information catch all.

The Couples’ names and their story. (It’s cute and we want to hear about it!)
Ceremony details (address, date, time, level of formality if applicable)
Reception details if they’re dif ..read more
