Vicksburg Daily News - Edwards native and former Mississippi State University football player Trent Singleton has committed to the University of South Alabama. Singleton, who was a star defensive back and quarterback at Raymond High School, made the announcement on Monday. He helped the Rangers to a 7-4 winning season in 2021. Vicksburg Daily News - An investigation is ongoing after a human leg was discovered inside a Rankin County Lake. On Sunday, a group of kids were fishing at Primos Lake off Mangum Road when they spotted a human leg with a sock on it at around 7:15 p.m. Police arrived on the scene after the kids called 911 and the body part was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office. Reports indicate that the leg had been in the water for a while.More information is expected to be released. Vicksburg Daily News - It’s been over a month since Vicksburg native Sade Robinson was killed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and most of her human remains are still not found. 19-year-old Robinson was killed and dismembered after going on a date with 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson. Last month, Milwaukee County confirmed that a severed leg, foot, torso, and arm were all discovered.
