Space82% Blade Runner

Alright, let’s dive into Graystudio’s latest custom keyboard: the Space82% Blade Runner. This board caught me by surprise—I mean, who wouldn’t be intrigued by an F-row-less layout? It falls into the FRL-1800 category, and let me tell you, it’s pretty. With its sleek design, a splash of accent RGB, and a unique gasket system, this is Graystudio at their most exciting. And as per the title, I don’t think this has anything to do with Blade Runner, sorry to ..read more

The New SixtyFive

Mode’s latest keyboard is seriously top-notch. Finally, we get a revamp of the OG SixtyFive, and let me tell you, it’s not just a run-of-the-mill refresh. They’ve taken everything they’ve learned from their past few keyboards and poured it into making the New SixtyFive shine in its own right. Now, they’ve got a couple other 65% layout releases, so you might be wondering—how does this stack up against the Envoy, Mode’s more budget-friendly option? Well, let’s dive ..read more

Toronto Photo Walks with a Leica M11 // 2024
This year is about learning something new, among other goals. One of those new things is to get back into bringing my camera with me everywhere and taking photos of things I see. More than that, it’s about discipline and getting better. I bring my Leica M11 everywhere with one of a few lenses. I have been focusing more on my 35 Summicron and 50mm Summilux.
What I’ve learned so far? Toronto is very monochromatic and dull in some areas. This doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty in the city though. Below is a gallery of what I’ve found so far. I ho ..read more

What are your favourite switches? What are the best switches for mechanical keyboards? Well, I am back with a second part to my top five series. The Gem80 is the latest keyboard from NuPhy and they are setting their sights on something more custom than their previous releases. In fact, they claim this is much more than a custom keyboard, so what is it exactly? Well, it’s a TKL with multiple mounting options that is competing with some other amazing boards in its price range. And that price range is $149.95 for the wired variant and $169.95 for the wireless version. I did take a rather in depth look at this bo ..read more

QwertyKeys has been on a roll lately. With their Neo65 and Neo70 boards seeing success, I was excited to see what was next on the horizon for them.
Well, they came out with a TKL called the Neo80. It’s the latest from QwertyKeys and, in my opinion, one of the prettiest boards they have released in the Neo lineup! It has a classic design, with thin side bezels and a simple yet elegant side profile. The board starts at $110 USD for the plateless v ..read more

The Loop is not a rehash or an upgrade to its previous TKL, the Eighty. It’s a wholly reimagined (from a build perspective) TKL. In fact, the only part used from the Eighty is the PCB. Did it really make sense for Mode to completely start over? Let’s take a look.
