Alexa & Ian flew in from the US with a handful of close family and friends to hold their full Scottish Wedding at Neidpath Castle in the Scottish Borders and what an absolute beauty it was! Nestled on a meander on the banks of the river Tweed and near to the pretty Borders town of Peebles, the stunning Medieval castle of Neidpath stands proud. The early castle dates to around 1190 but after suffering damage during the wars with England, it lay in ruin until being rebuilt during the late 13th century. BEST SCOTLAND ELOPEMENT PLANNERS I’m lucky enough to have been photographing elopements in Scotland for 10 years. During this time I have learned a lot about locations, suppliers and how to approach each individual day. I send a recommendations list to every couple and enjoy helping out as much as I can, but I’m a photographer first and couples will still have to organise, contact, book and put a lot of time and effort into planning their day themselves. This is where professional elopement and wedding planners come in, with their expertise and local knowledge they can craft a finer… The post ..read more

Anu and John eloped to Glencoe in October, theirs was a wonderfully Sunny Autumn Elopement in Scotland. When eloping to this wonderful country of ours the one thing we can’t control is the weather. We really just have to go for it regardless, but whether its windy, torrential rain or snowing, the landscape of Scotland always offers up the full drama and an awesome experience. For Anu and John’s day, Glencoe treated us to some sweet haze-filled Autumnal light. It was a joy to be up there at their ceremony spot overlooking the mountains of the Three Sisters (Beinn Fhada,… The post Autumn Elopeme ..read more

Woodland , Water and Rock Neil and Flora’s Scottish elopement in Galloway forest on a Sunny spring day in April. The Galloway forest is a dark sky area and a place of outstanding beauty with a remote vibe and stunning Lochs and Woodlands. Many couples who decide to elope to Scotland will head straight for the hotspots like Glencoe, Isle of Skye and the North West Highlands and for good reason, these are stunningly remote parts with some epic locations brimming with rugged scenery, but the landscape and woodland of the lush rolling Scottish Borderlands of Galloway should’nt be ignored… The post ..read more

A vintage vibe Scotland elopement Wedding in the North West Highlands.
