La Pine Pickleball Club Leadership Opportunity We are coming up on the time of year where we look for new volunteers for our club’s leadership. Since we are part of La Pine Parks and Rec District (LPRD), our leadership is not formally a board, but a volunteer committee. As a volunteer-run organization, we welcome the opportunity for different members to help lead us over time to get new ideas and fresh energy. To date, we have had 5 members on the committee. Two of the current committee members are looking to step down, leaving two vacancies. Additionally, we think that it would be beneficial ..read more

This is your opportunity to change that — if you say you want to get better, this is your chance to learn from one of the best in the game, right here in La Pine. Sign up on Pickleball Planet’s website. Calling all Captains! There will be a mandatory captains' meeting May 26 at 12 ..read more

Email to members, April 24, 2023 Hello LPPC members, As you may have noticed, we recently changed a couple of the underutilized "Open Play" sessions on our indoor calendar to "4.0+ Open Play". Similar to having our Beginner Open Play sessions, these are designed to allow a group of players in our club a chance to play with others of similar skill level. Similarly, as we are starting to move to more outdoor play going forward, two of our eight courts will have signs indicating they are for 4.0 play. During Open Play time, these courts are to be used for 4.0+ players. This does not mea ..read more
