Terry's Place is a great open air venue where it's always summer... It features "canned" music, Live DJ's, Open Mic Nights and Live Artists providing entertainment sets singly or in various combinations. Owner Ninja (ninjaantwoord Resident) is a great guy with a friendly, warm welcome for all. It's definitely a place that has a "good feel" about it. Mubbles Jazz and Blues Lounge is one of my favorite places in SL for live music. Its a cozy venue but still has lots of room for dancers. On the main level are two large dance floor areas with a second floor overlook onto the stage and a large dance area up there as well. The ground floor dancing includes discs at the front for single dancers and still plenty of room for couples to dance off the intan or on their own huds. Noma Falta was the fourth blog I ever did - on April 3, 2021, and she is a powerful, passionate performer, an incredibly talented vocalist, bass player, and guitar player and one of SL's finest, top-tier musicians who has been at it in SL for over 14 years. I received an excited email/notice from Mina over at Swamp Water Bluz awhile back that she had been able to locate and book a fellow by the name of Da Bluez Preacher (srv4u Conacher) for a couple of shows in October. That delighted me because I had first heard about this fellow from Roxie not long before that. *With Special Guest Da Bluez Preacher on back track* Wednesday I went over to Swamp Water Bluz to catch another set from Paul Nowles after having to abort my blog on him the previous Saturday evening. A power outage on my end was the culprit. It's a fall day at Temptation Falls and the sim looks wonderful with all the colours of the leaves and the last blast of flowers for the season. It's gorgeous here and worth taking a look, not to mention catch a show by some of the best musicians on the grid! The Venue is a refit of an older establishment that has been put together in record time by the new owner, CandyKisses. She has done a great job of texturing and making all kinds of little places to go and dance or cuddle or just hang while you wait for the next act.
