On Saturday, April 20, voters in Utah County played a significant role in selecting the Republican Party’s candidates for this year’s primary and general election. The Utah County Republican Party’s nominating convention was held at Skyridge High School in Lehi with over 1,400 delegates participating.  Many delegates in attendance felt the caucus convention system is the best way to select candidates. Lewis steps down as Lehi hoops coach; Will remain as full-time Athletic Director

The Lehi High School administration announced on Friday (April 19) that Quincy Lewis has resigned as head boys basketball coach and will become the school’s full-time Athletic Director. He has served in that capacity on a part-time basis since coming to LHS four years ago. Lewis said that family considerations were the primary reasons for him to make this move now. The Lehi girls lacrosse team has posted a 3-5 overall record to start the season, including a 2-2 mark in Region 3 play coming into this week. On Saturday, April 14, Miriam Brophy won the title of Lehi Round-Up Rodeo Queen. Brophy is from Payson and this was her first time competing for the Lehi Round-Up title.  The Miss Lehi Round-Up Rodeo pageant is the kickoff event for Lehi’s annual Round-Up Rodeo Week.
