Regular outdoor place-based learning also benefits from developing and practicing core routines. Students are used to going outside for recess, lunch, outdoor gym class, or perhaps for a short time to burn off some energy at the end of a longer class. Most stu ..read more

Her Grade 2 teacher had practically begged her parents to put her into acting. Today, she practices the craft seven days a week, teaching and performing with Theatre Under the Stars, Arts Umbrella, Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools and community theatre classes. All of this is on top of her involvement with Argyle Drama, which opens its Winter Festival this week (December 13 – 15, 2023) with a Bailey Skelton original production, The Brewbox: A Caffeinate ..read more

Every day, students, teacher and two parent helpers would board the bus near Carisbrooke, arrive at the Lonsdale Quay bus loop, and after a short walk to The Polygon Gallery, were ready for the day’s activities. Fortunately, it was a sunny week! Students had fun exploring the gallery through hi ..read more
