Covering this show was super meaningful for me! Dave Mathews was the first concert I went to without my parents. Although that show was with the Orchestra, many full Dave Mathews Band shows were to come. Fast forward 30+ years and here I am covering this amazing band! I found myself hopping up and down in anticipation of them coming onto the stage. Jumping out the gate with Don’t Drink The Water a high energy favorite of mine! Pig was up next with Old Dirt Hill following that. The always fun Lie In Our Graves came next and also a favorite of mine. The Only Thing, Stay Or Leave, Rapunzel, Stol ..read more

As we’re all well aware, music festivals bring massive amounts of people and resources together in shared spaces to make the spectacle happen. In admirable fashion, Solshine Reverie, which is scheduled to run this weekend from Thursday through Sunday evening, is leading the charge in promoting and ensuring sustainability efforts surrounding their weekend event. In their own words on their website, Solshine says they are “taking the necessary steps to reduce ..read more

The Jamwich
by Ashley Feller

As the smell of campfire smoke mingled with the melodic plinking of a 5-string banjo, the Florida Americana Music Festival came to life. The bright, silky sounds of mandolins and fiddles danced through the trees, providing a mesmerizing soundtrack to the colorful sunsets over the rolling hills of central Florida. From April 17 to 21st, I was lucky enough to attend and perform at this breakout festival. My excitement grew as I anticipated sharing my songs and becoming part of a new tradition at the Florida Sand Music Ranch.  Sara Stovall Photo By Ashley Feller The Florida Americana Mu ..read more

Too Many Zooz bring their horns to Cleveland
The Jamwich
by Jeff Modzelewski

Too Many Zooz are an almost undefinable mix of jazz, house, funk, EDM, and various other high-octane musical genres.  They call themselves brass house music, which is as good of a label as any.  Like many great artists, the label isn’t nearly as important as the chemistry that happens when these three performers are on stage.  Made up of Leo Pellegrino on baritone sax, Matt Muirhead on trumpet and keys, and David Parks on percussion, Too Many Zooz focus on creating a high energy show focused on both their incredible musicianship and excellent showmanship.  The band played ..read more
