Adoptable Mix Lolli is a 6-year old, 9 pound chi-weenie who is a total love bug and full of energy! Although she needs a minute to know that she is safe, once she gets comfortable, she is going to be your best couch companion. Adoptable dachshund Rusty is a lover and very happy go lucky. He loves to be close to his person and is always by your side or sleeping close by. He has a very expressive face and character. Rusty gets along with other dogs. Although there is no cat in his foster home, it has been reported that he is not a fan of the feline. Adoptable Mix Rue is 6 months old and sweet as can be. Rue is very friendly and engaging with other dogs. She can be a little nervous at first but really enjoys playing and generally be around other pets. She’s nervous when first meeting larger dogs but has successfully met other large dogs while out for walks and displays friendly engagement. Rue took a few days to adapt to the cats in her foster home but is now just curious when she meets them and approaches them with a friendly demeanor. Look at that sweet face! Meet two-year-old dachshund mix, Cornelius. This boy came to Low Rider from a shelter with an injury to his leg. We were able to get him into the right hands of specialists, and luckily save the leg with surgery! After a great amount of rest combined with love and care from his foster family, Cornelius is ready to find his forever home. Cornelius’ leg has healed up well. Adoptable Dachshund Benson is a precious fella who has a lot of love to give. He came to us in need of surgery and ended up requiring two of them to fix the injuries to his spine. Today, he is thrilled to be walking again! Benson shows no signs of anxiety, but he is not an only dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is pretty much submissive. Adoptable mix Bart will make an Amazing companion! Bartholomew loves to follow you around and be near his “person”, either female or male. He enjoys sitting in the recliner with his foster mom, but is sure to then hop over and spend time with his foster dad too. He wouldn’t want to leave anyone out! Adoptable Dachshund Kensington loves to play fetch all day and night. Kenny enjoys swimming and plays in the water sprinklers every chance he gets. Adoptable Mix Pappy Santiago came from a shelter and was in need of TLC. He adjusted quickly and is a sweet dog. “Big Pappy” will make a terrific companion in a calm environment.
