Once a year artists from across the country adorn the streets of St. Augustine as a part of the Plein Air St. Augustine Paint Out hosted by the St. Augustine Art Association.
The painters become a part of the St. Augustine landscape, as they sit in their chosen location and focus on the subject in front of them.
Patricia Domanski from Daytona Beach had chosen a small courtyard at the Lightner Museum, where she enjoyed the quiet morning hours.

WEST KING IS A THING. St. Augustine's west side is undergoing a not-so-subtle transformation, and the businesses in the West King business district just west of US1 are not letting it pass them by.

At the fourth Pinehurst and San Sebastian Cemeteries Restoration Day, passionate people from all over St. Augustine, Jacksonville and even Georgia came out to join in the effort to locate the lost graves, map out the graves and clean up around the gravesites.
The cemeteries are two of the oldest African American cemeteries in Florida, and in recent years the West Augustine Improvement Association has taken over the cemeteries and is now beginning to host regular cleanup events to keep the cemeteries maintained with little funding.

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a young female voice rang loud and clear at the Plaza de la ConstituciĆ³n in downtown St. Augustine, and the audience, participants in the annual MLK Day Silent March in St. Augustine, applauded her message, which resonated across color lines and across all age groups.

The 2022 Lincolnville Festival is an ode to the Lincolnville businesses of yesterday, celebrating the community and the more than 60 Lincolnville businesses that used to line the streets. King Street bridge nuisance flooding in St. Augustine.
The City of St. Augustine is prepareing for Tropical Storm Nicole, which will arrive just as the high king tides once again cause nuisance flooding downtown and on King Street.
The city is ready with sandbag operations, free parking at the garage, and a change in yard debris pickup schedule in preparation for the impact of Tropical Storm Nicole.
