Where Communities are Growing
Have you taken a walk recently through the Zig Zag path and noticed the beginnings of an orchard, and the re-discovery of a stream? Have you taken a stroll through The Kymin, to experience stepping out into the wild on our doorstep? Perhaps you’ve noticed the electric blue of the chicory in the raised beds, what a wonder.

Join us at the Kymin on Saturday 24th September, 10am – 2pm, to celebrate local green projects and environmental action, as part of a nationwide campaign to highlight the need for urgent action on climate and nature.
With community stalls, a Growing Good Mood Food workshop and kids activities, it’s a chance for the community to come together and find out about local projects including Penarth Growing Community, Penarth Tree Forum, Benthyg Penarth and Plastic Free Penarth, and Gwyrddio Penarth Greening, plus many others.
