Just a quick walk over the Johnson Street bridge & along the Songhees walkway, you can find yourself at Boom & Batten, an upscale yet casual spot to eat with a wood burning pizza oven, a robust wine selection and stunning views of the inner harbour. Good public space in a city is essential to building community.  Located at the corner of Blanshard and Fort, a beautifully restored courtyard is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or stop for a chat with friends.   Open from May to September, access to the courtyard is down an alley between Be Love Restaurant and Starbucks, and a secondary entrance on Broughton, next to Discovery Coffee.
