Cuba ransomware actors are still successfully targeting U.S. organizations in five critical infrastructure sectors. The FBI and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said Thursday in a joint advisory. St. Vincent and the Grenadines joins other Caribbean countries in embracing the ‘Citizen Security Data’ approach to crime prevention called CariSECURE. The initiative allows for data to be collected and logged digitally through a web-based application called the Police Record Information Management System (PRIMS) All police stations are in a state of readiness with trained police officers to implement and utilize the software. The Ministry of Agriculture launched its Data Share Platform, which allows for the centralization of the Ministry’s data based on access control lists so that requests for data do not have to be made or delivered by email but can be made available in real-time, on May 24, 2022. The platform was developed by Yi-Hsiu (Jenny) Chen, an IT Specialist attached to the Taiwan ICDF Overseas Volunteer Program, with funding from the Taiwanese Government.
