We love Knafs’ Lander pocketknife here at Adventure Carry. So do thousands of other Australian knife folks. (Missed that one? You can read about the original Lander HERE). Well, now the Knafs Lander 2 is on its way to our sunny shores, and we’re excited. If you squint, the design looks a lot like the first version of the Knafs Lander knife, but not only is it a tad bigger, there’s a LOT of other great stuff going on. Let’s take a quick look… Lander 2 - how much bigger? The overall length of the Lander 2 is 187.9mm, to be precise, and weight is a perfectly reasonable 84.5 grams. The origina ..read more

GIANTMOUSE FARLEY – THE SLIPJOINT THAT SOLD ME
Adventure Carry Australia Blog

I’ve never really understood the appeal of traditional slipjoint pocketknives. I guess if you’re all about tradition for the sake of it, and you’re willing to forego a pocket clip in order to gain a certain aesthetic, then that’s your choice. Yet even beyond the strictly traditional realm, it seems that relatively few brands are willing to break the rules in slipjoint design and give their knives a pocket clip, premium blade steel and screwed-together construction. You know, the sort of space-age stuff that raises the hackles of the GEC hardliners. For these reasons and more besides, I’ve esc ..read more

In amongst the current tsunami of button lock pocketknives, Civivi released the Qubit. And the button lock Elementum. And the Altus, the Chevalier, the Cogent…pardon me if I missed one. My point is that Civivi, bless ‘em, are so prolific in their releases of new knife designs that you could get whiplash trying to keep up as they zoom past. I nearly missed the Qubit myself, but by chance I stumbled upon it online, compared its specs to other designs available and decided there was one compelling reason to add it to my collection. One reason it seems most reviewers had missed. So I grabbe ..read more

Adventure Carry Australia Blog
by Mitchell Nero

A lot has already been said about the Lander, Knaf’s pocketknife that lends itself to scale swapping, dismantling, maintenance and general immersion in ownership. For knife nuts who are also tinkerers, there’s a lot to like. I recently picked up a Lander – the green micarta 14c28n version – from Adventure Carry, and thought I’d share a few quick insights into what I think makes this a great design for pocketknife lovers who aren’t necessarily into the whole tactical thing.   The Knafs Lander makes EDC easy The Lander’s size, shape and light weight make it the perfect choice for everyday ..read more

Mark your calendars, Civivi's latest releases are dropping on the 27th January and boy are there some goodies! Justin Lundquist's Lumi release was a hit when it first dropped last year. The compact and slicey front flipper was very well received. So much so that it was recently named the Best New Value Folder of 2021 by Knife News readers. This time it's back with a black out variant.   >> LUMI PRE-ORDER << Black on black must be in high demand as the Civivi NOx is also being released on 27th Jan in a Black Out version. The Lieb has been a part of Kizer's line up since mid 2020, but one year on, It's success has given birth to a fresh new Lieb. Akin to its predecessor, the compact design makes this knife a pleasure to use and the modified wharncliffe blade, cut from tried and trusted Bohler N690 steel, gives a good amount of usable blade edge for its overall size. The Lieb brings this lengthy edge together well with its sharp point making this a versatile tool for many tasks, while the generous finger choil on the handle allows for fine control when needed. There's a couple of key dif ..read more

Elegant, refined, precision crafted and built for use, these quality knives are something we're really proud to offer you.
