LiveSET is an exciting program for Portland-area youth of high school age (14-18) to get real-world, practical training in the art and science of sound engineering from top professionals in the field. LiveSET is hosting another cohort this spring, with applications due on March 27 at 8 am. Chosen applicants will attend workshops on acoustics, gain, signal flow, setting up a PA system, and more, getting hands-on work with sound equipment. Portland Radio Project is holding an Open House for new PRP volunteers on Sunday, March 3rd, from 1 - 5 pm at 3121 S. Moody Ave in Portland. Sing Out Loud! Give voice to your soul! Sing Out Loud! is a free workshop and concert event funded by RACC for high school and college-aged vocalists.
