written by Samantha Jo ReWild Long Island is pleased to announce the establishment of 21 new sustainable gardens across Long Island through collaboration with various community groups. These gardens build on the 13 sustainable gardens created in 2023 through the Community Gardens Program. The new partners have pledged to develop and maintain these gardens in publicly accessible areas, with ReWild providing free plants, services, and materials.
