INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today former Fever guard and player development coach Tully Bevilaqua has been hired as a video associate ahead of the 2024 regular season. Most recently, Bevilaqua served as an assistant coach with the Phoenix Mercury during the 2023 season.
“Tully is one of the most impactful players in Fever franchise history and we are excited to be able to welcome her back to Indiana,” Fever General Manager Lin Dunn said.

Pike High School basketball head coach and NBA champion Jeff Teague joined forces with AT&T and Human-I-T to bridge the digital divide for Indianapolis students in need. During an event on April 19 at Arsenal Technical High School, Teague helped distribute nearly 300 laptops to pre-selected students and families.
The initiative aimed to address the digital divide, a significant issue where a portion of the population lacks access to the internet or devices required for full participation in the online world. In Indiana alone, an estimated 13% of households are affected by this divide.

Foster care youth aging out will soon gain access to rental accommodations that are affordable at four different sites across Indiana. With funding approved by the Indiana General Assembly, the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) has revealed its choice of four projects aimed at fulfilling the demand.
Designed to develop affordable housing developments with supportive services for young adults (ages 18-23), during the 2023 budget session law makers allocated $5,000,000 with an additional $5,000,000 in grants to be provided by the IHCDA.

New federal funding will allow for the development of low-income solar programs throughout the state.
The Environmental Protection Agency’s Solar for All Funding distributed $7 billion to states, territories, municipalities and nonprofits across the country.
As part of these awards, a coalition of Indiana organizations and commissions was awarded nearly $117.5 million.
The Indiana Solar for All Coalition includes the Indiana Community Action Association, the Indiana NAACP and the cities of Fort Wayne, Gary and Indianapolis.

On any given day you can find Mark A. Nance at the PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf) Indianapolis shop. The store manager has been a Professional Golf Association (PGA) professional for 30 years.
“My grandfather played golf. I spent summers and weekends with my grandparents, and it went from him dragging me to the golf course when I was about five years old to me begging him to go to the golf course,” said Nance.
He would play in junior gold tournaments, before going pro after graduating from Jackson State University.

Nigel Franklin and Rae Brewer remember the day their daughter, Mileena was born. The day is still fresh in their minds since it only happened four months ago.
“I was shocked because it’s like when she finally came out of me, they put her on my chest. I was like, ‘She’s mine.’ That was literally my first words. She’s mine,” said Brewer.
