After a seven year hiatus the BTC World Relays Bahamas 24 will return to The Bahamas on May 4th and 5th at the Thomas A. Robison Stadium. The country hosted the first three World Athletics Relays in 2014, 2015 and 2017. The event will not only showcase the world’s best athletes but also the best of Bahamian culture. In a historic ruling, the High Court of Dominica has overturned a colonial-era law that banned same-sex relations between consenting adults. Guyana: A 52-year-old man was stabbed to death by another man in Guyana during an altercation. The incident took place around 5 pm on Wednesday in front of a grocery store near Vlissengen Square, East Ruimveldt. Kingston, Jamaica: In a significant relief for the citizens, the only petroleum refinery in Jamaica, Petrojam, has announced major changes in the prices of fuel products. As effective from April 25, the gas prices will go down by $1.06 while the diesel prices will reduce by $1.81. St Vincent and the Grenadines: The dead body of a female doctor, said to be in her 70s, was found in the waters of Friendship Beach in Bequia.
