Gayes! The LGBTQ+ community out of Jackson, Mississippi has recently been rocked by a tragedy with the shooting of native Carlos Collins.
The 25-year-old Registered Nurse was said to have been murdered by former partner and colleague Marcus Johnson.
According to Detective Tommie Brown, the homicide was carried out Tuesday morning at Tapestry Northridge Apartments on Parkway Drive in Jackson, Mississippi.
Collins was shot multiple times and an axe was allegedly used during the incident. Investigators have yet to announce a motive for the attack.

In November of last year, the Russian Supreme Court banned the "LGBTQ+ movement", adding it to a list of extremist and terrorist organizations.
