Cooper DeJean is a Philadelphia Eagle! That’s right certain writers of this site who are Dallas Cowboys fans (Riley Donald), Howie has done it again. Somehow, the league let Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean just keep falling. Seen nearly unanimously as a first-round pick, DeJean somehow found himself falling outside of the top 32. And then somehow he just kept falling further into the second round. Howie Roseman knew it was time to craft a deal. Even with their rivals Washington, he needed to add DeJean to fix his defense. To give Vic Fangio his superstar playmaker. That’s how Philadelphia g ..read more

The Iowa Hawkeyes unfortunately don’t have another name to add to their list of first-round draft selections under head coach Kirk Ferentz. Iowa superstar defensive back and return specialist Cooper DeJean didn’t hear his name called in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. After a standout career at Iowa, DeJean was a surefire first-round NFL draft choice on just about every final mock draft board. In his final season donning the black and gold, the 6-foot, 203 pound defensive back was a unanimous consensus All-American. DeJean was also named the Tatum-Woodson Big Ten Defensive Back of the ..read more
