I’m often sent various beauty products to test out. From serums, to creams, to masks, I’m always looking to discover new things. To be completely honest though, because I’m so picky about what I put on my skin, I’ll usually end up using it once or twice and then giving it away. The items which I’ve highlighted below are the beauty products I can’t live without and buy on repeat. I’ve been using most of these for years, so I know they work. Cleanser Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser. ($22) A facial cleanser needs to achieve three things in order for me to continue rebuying it.Read More → The post T ..read more

After taking enough trips from my apartment in NYC to my family’s beach house in Connecticut, I’m finally satisfied with the way I pack my travel makeup case. For years, no matter where I was vacationing, I’d end up bringing way too many products. There were multiple nail polishes (just in case I felt like doing a manicure, of course I never did), a ton of eyeshadows in every color you can think of, and many other products. I finally realized that I would never use most of these, so I simplified my packing and stuck to the basics. Below is a list of theRead More → The post What’s Inside My Tra ..read more

Ever since Euphoria premiered in 2019, I’ve been obsessed. When season two was announced last fall, I was ecstatic—my Sunday night TV show was coming back after a long hiatus because of Covid! I had so many questions after season one’s ending and, of course, I re-watched it during the pandemic. Aside from the intense and realistic storylines that cover topics like drug addiction, sexuality, domestic violence and friendships (all involving teens)—the gritty drama stands out for its bold take on makeup and fashion choices. Recently, I watched a video where Euphoria’s makeup designer, Doniella Da ..read more

Growing up in the 90s was a much simpler time. There was no such thing as social media, no one had cell phones, friends got together after school to play outside, and Friday nights were reserved for TGIF and ordering pizza. When I think back to that decade, various TV shows, movies, games, and characters stand out. Recently, beauty brands have begun collaborating with our favorite old school characters, giving us a feel good blast from the past. I’ve picked 15 makeup and beauty products that will spark memories of living in the 90s. 1. Sailor Moon Collection | ColourPop, $94 The prettiest dain ..read more

It seems like every day there’s a new anti-aging device on the market. They promise to reverse the hands of time or they claim to offer the same results that you can find at a dermatologist’s office or spa, but do they deliver? To be honest, more often than not, they don’t. These gadgets cost hundreds of dollars, and after using them for the recommended amount of time, you see nothing. With that being said, not all are created equal. There are at home anti-aging beauty devices that *actually* do what they promise to do. We’ve rounded up 12 of them and answered some basicRead More → The post Th ..read more

With so many beauty products on the market all promising to do specific things, it’s hard to know which ones are worth investing in. How to Heal Your Dry and Cracked Hands Once and For All

Every winter like clockwork, my hands become dry and cracked. This is something I’ve dealt with year after year (even when I lived in Los Angeles and it was significantly warmer than the East Coast). It starts around October and lasts until April or when the weather begins to warm up. If I slack off on applying lotion, I’ll get painful cuts all over my hands (especially on my knuckles). I’ve come to accept that it’s a side effect of winter caused by a lack of humidity in the air and over-washing my hands. Over the years I can’t begin to count the various lotions,Read More → The post How to Hea ..read more
