By Ovi All of the Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production data, oil, for the US state charts comes from the EIAʼs Petroleum Supply monthly PSM which provides updated information up to April 2023. U.S. April oil production rose by 72 kb/d to 13,248 kb/d. The largest increases came from Texas, 53 kb/d while New Mexico dropped by 24 kb/d. US production has been flat since September 2023. The dark blue graph, taken from the May 2023 STEO, is the forecast for U.S. oil production from April 2024 to December 2025. The EIA STEO was published recently the estimate below is based on data from that report and statistics from the EIA International Energy Statistics. The EIA expects the 2018 peak for annual average World C+C output will be surpassed in 2025. Beyond 2024 the EIA forecast looks optimistic to me, my expectation is slightly higher output in 2024 (annual average World C+C output) of about 82100 kb/d (about 250 kb/d higher than the EIA forecast) and about 82400 kb/d in 2025 (roughly 1250 kb/d less than the EIA forecast). The OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) for June 2024 was published recently. The last month reported in most of the OPEC charts that follow is May 2024 and output reported for OPEC nations is crude oil output in thousands of barrels per day (kb/d). In the OPEC charts that follow the blue line with markers is monthly output and the thin red line is the centered twelve month average (CTMA) output.  Output for April 2024 was revised up by 25 kb/d and March 2024 output was also revised higher by 23 kb/d compared to last month’s report.
