Get out of Los Angeles Sometimes you need to get away. Even if it’s just for one little overnight at Joshua Tree. So grateful for the overcast and cloudy weather this past weekend. I’m grateful every time I make the decision to drive through the Joshua Tree National Park. It is simply a magical place.  Bring Your Camera You can’t take a bad picture in this place. I meet a lot of people (usually women) who have not had a photo taken in YEARS. Many of them have a hard time seeing what they see and it breaks my heart … because everyone is beautiful and I wish they could see it. I learned through the years that I should document my aging so I’m never shocked with what I see. I feel the best way to “Embrace my Face” as I get older is to get a pro shot done with minimal to no makeup at least once a year … just to see how I’m progressing with no botox or fillers. I spent many many years as a Nikon photographer. I thought several times I would venture off and become a Canon user because they were always ahead of the curve when it came to their digital capabilities.
