This candid surprise proposal was so cute! Cole proposed at El Matador State Beach in Malibu. Cole made up a story that he was taking his girlfriend to a work party, and on the way he mentioned that friends were waiting at the beach to have a drink. She was super upset because she was wearing expensive shoes and didn’t want to walk on gravel to the sand! When they arrived, he admitted that their friends weren’t coming. I had so much fun photographing the Russel family this month! It was my first time working with this family and we connected so quickly. When I do an extended family shoot, not only do we focus on the large group. But each smaller family is able to do their own short session. This fun surprise proposal was truly a shock to Jinouth! I love when partners don’t know that a proposal is coming. Tyler took Jinouth to Point Dume in Malibu to go on a hike. He wanted to propose to her on a cliff above the ocean. The proposal didn’t go exactly as planned. This romantic engagement session was absolutely stunning. Faizah and Samir will get married in a traditional Indian ceremony in a month. We went to Malibu to capture their engagement session before the wedding. Faizah and Samir wanted to do it at the beach in Malibu and wanted a really grand nature background. It was such a joy to get to photograph Caitlin and Ravi’s multicultural wedding day. Caitlin and Ravi started their special day at Hotel Figueroa, a boutique hotel in Downtown LA. Caitlin got ready with her mom and sister in one room while Ravi got ready with his father and groomsmen in another. This intimate backyard Bar Mitzvah was such a sweet celebration! I worked with former clients, which I always love. It is so fun to watch families grow together, especially with kids.
