Photo by Amanda Loren In 2008, Forever Oceans chef Mark Allison’s wife Alison was diagnosed with stage-four non-treatable Carcinoid Syndrome with a prognosis of three years. Her brave fight lasted eight years, ending on March 19, 2015 at the age of 50. Mark picked up the gauntlet and continued the fight with Fork Cancer, an annual dinner to benefit four local nonprofits.
