First Negate then Affirm - (5127)

The universal cosmic order of awakening is that we first work with negation. That is negating all the false and all that we are not. Once the layers of false have been cracked and picked away unveiling who we truly are, we then need to work in affirming who we truly are. That is why we start the work by dissolving the "I" - our false identity first, and then in affirming the Inner Being afterwards. We can do this process with any psychological "I" that we are working on. We workin dissolving the conditioning of the value and affirm the value at the same time.  The start though is alwa ..read more

We are a Tiny Speck Alone in a Vast Universe Feeling - (5126)

That's really not the right feeling to have. We do feel that yes but we don't need to feel it. It is in fact an incorrect and false feeling to have. We feel it because we are a asleep to our true reality... We are actually a universe already in and of itself. We are complete and full as a universe is and just as indestructible as the vast universe outside of us is. We are a universe, so feel vast, complete and whole and no longer feel tiny, abandoned and alone as a nanoscopic speck in the great infinity. It would be rather cruel of the Absolute to make us all like that, that is tiny absolu ..read more

Why the Master is Not Respected - (5125)

Because of a lack of consciousness and work in the person.  It is with consciousness that we can see the Master. Without consciousness of the work we only see another personality.  It is like a rough stone is only recognised as a diamond by those who work with gems. If a person in truth does the same work that a master has done it is automatic that the person will respect the Master as he or she knows for real the qualities that one must have and develop to work on oneself. If we ever lose respect it means straight away that we are losing our work! End (5125 ..read more

The Many Fears Notes - (5124)

A short list of the fears human beings experience ("I's" of fear). Quite interesting each fear that we can have is also a deep kind of fascination. It is often how fear shows us that there is something that we need to learn more about and develop consciousness of and develop a value hidden in that area of relating to that in which we fear. There is always a reason behind each fear, hiding waiting for us to find... End (5142 ..read more

Working on the P.P.P in the Three Brains Notes - (5123)

Introduction This post presents some notes about working on the principal psychological profile in the three brains. Notes The P.P.P is the "I" that we don't notice. Until we know it, it remains elusive and we suspect other "I's" to take the title. This is because it is so natural, it has become such an integral part of ourselves and we have come to use it for nearly everything in our life and furthermore, we like it (not all of it though), think it is us, and depend upon it.  We have become deeply identified with it and we have based much of our identity and self-image upon it.  ..read more

Less Self-Obsession - (5121)

We think we are not self-obsessed but we all are. We all while we are asleep have a degree of it. We can see it easily in others but not in ourselves. The less self-obsessed we are the closer we are to awakening. When we are self-obsessed we take ourselves very seriously and when we are criticised we react angrily and feel very upset. The less self-obsessed we are the less we react and the more we can appreciate the the truth or part truth of the criticism. The key of self-obsession is the belief that we are something that we are not and the deep fascination with the 'something that we ar ..read more

Less Self-Consideration - (5120)

When we consider ourselves we become weak... Too weak to do our work... To progress in awakening we realise that we have to consider ourselves less. However, we have to know how to consider ourselves less. It does not mean to forget our Inner Being, or forget that we are an essence and that we have work to do. No! It does not mean to forget to eat or sleep or shower. No! It means to forget about our desires, our vested interests, what others think and feel towards us, our personality, our sufferings, how we have been wronged, how we have not been understood, or not taken care of, our hard ..read more

Each Virtues Does Something - Truth Liberates - (5118)

Introduction This post is a series of notes for a presentation on the working practically with virtues. Notes Each virtue does something and gives us something. Each virtue has a cause and effect. Love gives warmth and joy, wisdom - illumination, faith - strength and truth - freedom. According to what we yearn for (effect) we choose the virtue (cause) to produce it. If we need to heal ourselves or others or a particular situation, the effect is healing or repair and the cause of that is the right virtue. Conclusion to this point is that each virtue or value is causative or causal in nature ..read more

The Three Faces of God - (5116)

From a conversation with a fellow Gnostic brother I leant about this teaching which comes from another spiritual teacher and writer: Ken Wilber The teaching says that God for the human being has three faces:  1.) God in me. 2.) God in you. 3.) God everywhere. How true is that. God is in those three areas. Our relationship to God is really threefold. It is about being able to see God in those three areas to have a complete relationship to God. It is quite profound. It is really saying that if we can't see God in any of those three areas we are not relating well to God.  We may be ..read more
