I was introduced to tonlé by friends on social media. I saw a post by a friend in a beautiful handwoven, sustainably-made sweater made from reclaimed fabrics which made me want to learn about the brand. tonlé is an ethical brand that makes vibrant garments, accessories and housewares using fair labor and from reclaimed and sustainable fabrics. Takeout’s environmental challenges
Its important for me and my family to make takeout more eco -friendly. We are working hard on achieving a more sustainable lifestyle but while the dominant sustainability mantra is to cook at home, takeout is something is we enjoy especially on a Friday night and also life is busy so somedays you just cant cook! Hair recycling with TerraCycle
Most people would be predisposed to view hair as naturally biodegradable. Given such predisposition, my expectation is that the title of this blog post triggers questions like: isn’t hair naturally biodegradable? Why does hair need to be recycled?
