KANSAS CITY, Mo—Two hundred and sixty graduates from Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College received their degrees on May 3 during the seventy-fifth commencement exercises. President Jason Allen led the ceremony, presenting diplomas to graduates and awarding recognitions to two faculty members.
After opening the ceremony with a word of welcome and a reading of Psalm 93, Allen said, “Men and women are going forward from this place, some in the marketplace, others in churches, still others to the mission field around the world.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo—Midwestern Seminary welcomed Michael Reeves to campus on April 24 to deliver a chapel message in concert with the third annual Spurgeon Library Conference.
Reeves, who serves as president and professor of theology at Union School of Theology in Bridgend, England, preached on Spurgeon’s view of Christ’s power to transform the heart.

KANSAS CITY, Mo—At a special chapel service on April 23, Spurgeon College commissioned nine missionary teams to overseas service in Africa and Asia. The ceremony also commissioned several graduate-level students who have completed rigorous training in the Fusion Master’s Cohort in preparation for service as career missionaries.
