Trashing the Dress: A Bold and Unconventional Wedding Trend that's totally worth it!!!
In the world of weddings, traditions often reign supreme. From the white gown to the tiered cake, there are countless customs that couples adhere to in order to create the perfect day. However, in recent years, there has been a growing trend that goes against the grain of these traditional norms: trashing the dress. This bold and unconventional practice involves deliberately damaging or destroying the wedding dress after the ceremony, often in a dramatic and creative fashion. In this blog, we’ll explore th ..read more

12 Reasons Why you should hire me as your Plus-Size wedding Photographer
Your wedding day is a celebration of love, joy, and the unique bond you share with your partner. As you prepare to walk down the aisle and say “I do,” it’s essential to feel confident, empowered, and beautiful in your own skin. Unfortunately, traditional beauty standards in the wedding industry often fail to reflect the diversity of body types, leaving many plus-size brides and grooms feeling overlooked or misrepresented.
As a passionate advocate for body positivity and inclusivity, I specialize in plus-size posing and ..read more

Jane and Robert are a match made in heaven. They both work in law enforcement, are career-driven, family-oriented, and have the biggest smiles, and absolutely radiate joy and gratitude. They’ve been together a little under two years but, as Jane told me on the day of her wedding, “When you know, you know”.
They wanted their engagement photos to be taken at the mission in San Juan Capistrano because that is where they’d be getting married very soon! That way they could put these photos on their inviters and have it match the theme and essence perfectly. We went to all the usual spo ..read more

For starters, this will be a little shorter than my normal blogs because this was a mini-wedding! My assistant and I only had a few hours with this couple, just the church ceremony and some photos after, but it was still memorable and the photos came out beautifully (because I shot them, duh). Usually, we are with the couple from hair, makeup, and getting ready all the way until everyone is getting tired from dancing at the reception but this couple opted for a more intimate dinner reception, and … They’re already married! They had a destination wedding with a whole party so this was just fo ..read more

What a beautiful day for a wedding! We started the day with the bride and groom getting ready in their separate suites at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course. We got there early as an event was ending so we had to fight a sea of people to get into where the bridal suite was which was funny. It looked like a white coat ceremony for doctors so all the students and their families were there with flowers and gifts and the works. We finally fought the sea of people and entered the bridal suite where everything was already in motion. The bride’s hair and makeup were getting their final touches and ..read more

We shot this engagement session in Santiago Canyon on a beautiful, slightly overcast day, which is the best for lighting in any photographer’s opinion. It’s also nice because then no one has to worry about pit stains or sweating off makeup and definitely makes my job in Photoshop a lot easier hahaha. This couple was such a great time and gleamed with how much they loved each other. Dad and stepmom came to help and they were really nice and helpful. They are such a beautiful couple and you can tell how in love they really are.
A big thank you to OCFA Fire Station #15 for ..read more

Pasadena City hall is one of my favorite locations and just always comes out looking gorgeous with so many different staircases, fountains, and a gorgeous rooftop that showcases the city hall’s beautiful architecture. Allison and Jakob live in Pasadena so this city is near and dear to their heart and what a better way to show their love than to take their engagement photos close to home. Their wedding is coming up soon and they’re getting married in Whittier which is a sentimental place for Allison and I can’t wait for their big day. This couple was so fun and unique and working with th ..read more

Jane and Robert are a match made in heaven. Their friends and family expressed that they couldn’t believe what a perfect match they were and were so happy they found each other. They both work in law enforcement, are career-driven, family-oriented, and have the biggest smiles, and absolutely radiate joy and gratitude. They’ve been together a little under two years but, as Jane told me on the day of, “When you know, you know”.

When Sarah contacted me about her wedding and told me what her theme was all about, it made me very excited about her wedding. She told me that her wedding was going to be witchy. She confided in me that her wedding dress was going to be black and that really excited me. In the 30-plus years I’ve been photographing weddings I have never photographed a bride with a black dress.
I photographed Sarah and Nick’s engagement session months before their wedding and brought with me a black tool celestial-themed ball gown from my client wardrobe. I loved their engagement session.
