Claire and George have been together for what feels like forever. Both born and raised Iowa kids, they practically grew up together while attending College at The University of Iowa. Claire and George decided to elope with just family 2 years ago and put the ceremony with friend on hold for a big special celebration in Italy in April 2020. Obviously with COVID happening they had to cancel their wedding. Fast forward to March 2021, Claire and George decided to follow through with celebrating on their original wedding date, but instead having it at their new home in Nashville, Tennessee. They wo ..read more

Kirsty and Anthony had a roller coaster of an experience of planning their Cabo wedding. They knew they wanted to have a whole weekend long fiesta with their closest family and friends on the beach, so they landed on Sandos Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas for what was originally their springtime wedding. Kirsty and Anthony are both well know fitness trainers in Kansas City, and unfortunately Kirsty had an accident a couple months before her wedding where she was working out and tore her Achilles heel. She was unable to fully walk for months. She was determined to walk down the aisle with her fath ..read more

Step into the magical realm of The Fox House, nestled an hour outside of Porto in the verdant Douro Valley. The venue has a vibe of sophistication meets the whimsical charm of a colorful garden tea party. As both the photographer and creative director for this unique celebration, I was deeply involved in every facet, from the eclectic welcome party to the refined main event. It was a joy to bring this vision to life.
Under my guidance, The Fox House transformed, blending the timeless grace of vintage elements with the fresh vibrancy of modern touches. We paired classic antique urns with bold ..read more

I’ve been really excited about sharing my work lately, especially as I’ve been slowing down to nest at home with my husband and prepare for the arrival of our first baby this November. Though the epic backdrops of Iceland, France, Ireland, or Morocco are not featured in any of my new work, what is featured is work created with a lot of heart and constant creative and personal growth.
I’ve loved refining my approach to wedding photography. I focus on establishing a relationship with my couples before their wedding day so I can be a familiar and calm presence on one of the most important days of ..read more

Planning a proposal in Kansas City? Let me help make it epic! Recently, I had the pleasure of orchestrating and capturing a surprise proposal on one of the tallest rooftops in Kansas City, boasting stunning views of downtown.
The groom-to-be enlisted my help months in advance to plan this magical moment. With a simple yet brilliant plan, we brought the bride-to-be to the rooftop of the Hotel Kansas City under the guise of a casual date night. She had no idea what was coming!
After she said yes, their close family and friends joined in the celebration on the rooftop, adding to the joy and surpr ..read more

If you’re a couple looking for some spring 2025 wedding inspiration in Kansas City, look no further! I had the pleasure of capturing an enchanting outdoor wedding that was detail-heavy and truly unique. From the floral arrangements to the tablescape display, every element was meticulously curated.
The couple, who are dog lovers, added a personal touch by naming their drinks and drink stirrers after their two adorable dogs, a Frenchie and a Corgi. Guests enjoyed custom outdoor games, including corn hole wooden structures made custom with the couple's initials, making cocktail hour lively and fu ..read more

I love shooting weddings at The Hawthorne House. Its tucked away in Parkville just outside of Kansas City in an area that feels almost private. Like a pretty home in the middle of a small town. I’ve shot all around the midwest but something hits different at Hawthorne House. The intimate setting, the lush property, the trees and flowers that welcome you in, the friendly and accommodating staff. It made for the perfect backdrop for this wedding pulled together by some of the best in the Kansas City, Missouri industry. If you are looking for a place to get married that is a perfect mix of natura ..read more

Archana and Blake opted to have their wedding in Kansas City despite both living in Washington DC. They have family in KC and wanted their out-of-town guests to experience the growing eclectic downtown atmosphere. They chose to have their wedding at The Bardot, a wedding venue located in the heart of the city. The venue boasts of industrial meets elegant charm with its tall ceilings, exposed white brick, exposed rafters, and a large modern statement chandelier. For what Archana and Blake wanted, which was something elevated with the potential to be rowdy, The Bardot ended up being the perfect ..read more

Set against the lush backdrop of a 33-acre estate where Victoria grew up, the wedding of Victoria and Carter was nothing short of a fairy tale. The outdoor garden party, infused with the essence of chic simplicity and deep-rooted family heritage, was meticulously planned down to the last detail. Victoria was the epitome of elegance in her simple yet stunning wedding dress complemented by a classic European veil. For the reception, she changed into a remade version of her late mother’s wedding dress, adding a touch of sentimental value to her attire. Her long, naturally wavy hair cascaded down ..read more

Danielle and Jack opted for the most relaxing and romantic wedding out in the country. There was no hurry on any part of the day, they intended to keep things slow and intentional so that they could be in the moment with each other, as well as their close family and friends. It was an honor to document this 4-year evolving love story at The Brim KC, a modern rustic church and barn, located about 20 minutes north of Kansas City. The venue was so dreamy and perfect for a couple that loves to be out in nature ..read more
