Natasha has been coming to Bar Harbor and Acadia every year since before she could remember! She was a wee 6 months old when she made her first trip here so it’s only natural that everything important in her life so far has been tied to the island. Including Andrew! She introduced him to their family trips early on in their relationship and as their love grew, so did Andrew’s love for Acadia. A wedding at the Bar Harbor Regency was in order, especially to share this special place with all of their friends and family from all over the world! Andrew was planning on proposing to Natasha at sunse ..read more

Miss B's 13th Birthday Photos in Biddeford Pool

What? This is 13?!?! Not fair! When I turned 13 I had frizzy hair, big ole’ thick coke-bottle glasses, and some fresh braces with fancy color elastics. You know, to jazz them up! BUT when I turned 13 we didn’t have social media and all the rest putting pressure on us from all angles. Kids these days have it a bit different than we did so I’m excited to take Miss B for hair and make up with Peace at Sephora in the Maine Mall before letting her go through my Client Closet and pick out a stunner of a dress for a Taylor Swift - Speak Now inspired session. She had such a blast running along these r ..read more

Marcello & Savi's Cliff House Surprise Proposal
Two Adventurous Souls Blog
by Brittany Bugaj
2M ago
Marcello contacted me over the winter and wanted to plan a surprise proposal for Savi. He hadn’t yet picked a location so this was one of the rare chances I got to help plan the weekend! He had a few places in mind from southern to mid-coast Maine but one location that wasn’t on his radar was the Cliff House. I think that’s an amazing venue if you plan on popping the question. It’s true luxury from the moment you check in! On site spa, two restaurants, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Even the restaurant has put domes outside for dining all year long. Not to mention if the weather doesn’t coop ..read more

Robert and Jennifer's Long Island Maine Wedding
Two Adventurous Souls Blog

Jennifer and Robert lived in the same dorm building freshman year of college and met on the staircase while they were both going to lunch. They had both slept through meeting up for lunch with their friends and could not be seen going to the dining hall alone during the first month of college. They decided they’d go together. You could probably consider that their "first date"! Robert then asked Jennifer if she wanted to watch his favorite movie, Miracle, in his room and the rest is history. Fast forward 7 years to their engagement in Saint Maarten. They walked out on the beach during sun ..read more

The B Family Portraits in Kennebunkport, Maine
Two Adventurous Souls Blog
by Brittany Bugaj

Last year my entire spring was filled with foggy/overcast sessions and rain reschedules. I kept telling everyone that Mother Nature owed us. She totally came through on the evening of these Kennebunkport Family portraits for the B Family. Sometimes sunset sessions fall pretty late in the evening and it can take a bit of convincing to get families to want to go out that late. Especially with little ones. I’m so glad I was able to convince this family and that the skies produced the most amazing evening! Keeping little ones occupied and having fun is all part of the job when it comes to family p ..read more

Christine's Main Character Session | Boothbay Harbor, Maine
Two Adventurous Souls Blog
by Brittany Bugaj

Christine loves to travel! Especially in Maine. It’s a relatively easy drive from her home and always a new adventure around every corner. I love her spirit and her desire to see pretty much all of Maine on her annual spring trips. Every time she aims to see new places and new experiences. This year her spring trip took her to Boothbay Harbor - a little seaside town with an adorable, walkable downtown and water views for days. The only trouble with solo travel? There’s no one to capture her adventures. That’s where our “Main Character” sessions come in. Think of it as a cross between personal ..read more

Robin and Shaun, along with their two adorable dogs, vacation in Bar Harbor every year. As Robin mentioned, she never in a million years thought she’d be coming here for a wedding! I’m so glad they did!! The day started off with Shaun getting ready with his nephew and the pups at the neatest rental right down town. In all my years, I never knew this little area was nestled right off the main road practically behind Ben & Bills. And get this, it’s a Treehouse style cottage! Who wouldn’t want to stay among the treetops? Robin was across town, in yet another adorable rental, where her mom a ..read more

Imagination Session | Dragon Bedtime Story

Ok so I’m on a dragon kick. I’m obsessed with fantasy books, movies, etc so maybe it’s not a dragon “kick” so much as it’s been an over arching theme throughout my life. These two were naturals when it came to playing pretend with my dragon! They loved getting dressed up are reading my book about dragons. It was really a book on fine art but it was the only one I had that was big enough to hide a light inside of. I love how the book is lit up to make it look like the magic is coming right out of it. Imagination Sessions are such a fun time for kids of all ages - I’ve even done these for adults ..read more

Paige and Mike's Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Engagement Session
Two Adventurous Souls Blog
by Brittany Bugaj

Introducing Paige and Mike, along with three of the goodest boys ever! We can’t wait to visit all these spectacular locations again for their wedding this summer - along with seeing the pups again! When I say they’re the most well behaved dogs I’ve ever met, I’m not joking! Now this isn’t a dig on other dogs I’ve worked with, these guys were just next level. Paige and Mike really put some time into training them! Unfortunately dogs weren’t welcome at the beach we visited so we only go to play around with them at the lighthouse (and keep them away from all the poison ivy patches that the rocks ..read more
