Alex and Michael had a quintessential New England wedding. Alex had always dreamed of an Ocean House wedding ever since she was a little girl. What could be more quintessential New England than Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island? With the iconic blues and greens on the backdrop of the sea, Ocean House was the perfect location for their nuptials.
A little about their love story from the bride. “We met at Villanova University in 2016. A mutual friend set us up, believing that we’d have a great time together. From our first conversation, we both had a ‘this is my person’ feeling. From then o ..read more

Heidi and Patrick’s Coral Beach & Tennis Club in Bermuda was the perfect combination of stunning, fun, and sentimental. The couple lives in New York, and decided that they wanted a tropical wedding but also didn’t want their guests to travel too far- so Bermuda was the perfect choice!
Designed impeccably by Ana Luiza, they included colors and elements from the island in their wedding design, as well as Gombeys for their ceremony to cocktail hour walk. Heidi walked down the aisle, escorted by her two brothers, to a guitar played by her late father, which was incredibly touching. The recepti ..read more

Recently, I was in Italy photographing a wedding and was able to meet up with my friends Damaris and Albert for a shoot in Florence while they were there! I also included some photos from our time in Tuscany. Now, I have a little secret. This wasn’t actually an engagement shoot. This was a honeymoon shoot! Damaris and Albert had recently gotten married in Columbia and were on their honeymoon in Florence the same time I was there! So glad we were able to document this special time in their lives. I hope you enjoy this “Florence Italy engagement shoot” as well as our photos from around Tuscany ..read more

Alexa and David’s wedding had been many years in the making. A couple postponements because of pregnancy and a little thing called a global pandemic and they were finally able to tie the knot at the Ocean View Club on Harbour Island in 2022. The couple really wanted a relaxed and fun day, so we created a very loose itinerary, which was so refreshing. No wedding party, few posed photos, just pure fun. We galavanted around Harbour Island (where Alexa’s mother lives) taking portraits, and then the couple walked into their ceremony TOGETHER. That was something I had never seen but absolutely loved ..read more

I am sure you can tell right away from the photos, but Emily and Tim have the most incredible chemistry. The joy that they show when they look at each other is incredibly heartwarming. I am so glad we were able to do their engagement session in their hometown of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I was able to do their engagement session at the same time as I was in Massachusetts for another engagement session in Nantucket. Photographing this coastal engagement session in Massachusetts was truly a dream.
Just this year my husband and I bought a condo in Massachusetts. Over the years, I have been photogr ..read more

Bergman + Kaylee had a lovely, intimate morning wedding at the stunning Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida. Surrounded by their immediate families, the couple said their vows and exchanged rings under the beautiful canopy of Spanish moss and a rich history which can be found at Vizcaya. Due to the pandemic, the couple had to keep it small and outdoors. The beautiful gardens at Vizcaya could not have been a more perfect backdrop for their special day.
Check out another Vizcaya shoot I did here.

Tori + James had the most beautiful garden wedding celebration one year after their mini ceremony. Their original wedding was in 2020 but the celebration had to be rescheduled due to COVID. Their wedding was complete with their closest friends and family at the bride’s parents’ property. It was a privilege to photograph this colorful garden wedding in Greenville. See their wedding featured over on Style Me Pretty!

Shannon + Josh were kind enough to fly me out to Boulder for their engagement session last October. The couple wanted a similar, but unique, mountain backdrop to where they will be getting married in Upstate New York. They also wanted to time it so we could get beautiful fall colors. Therefore, Boulder Colorado it was! Shannon’s sister attend’s college there so she had seen before just how beautiful of a place it is. We had the most lovely sunrise session and these two seriously were troopers for dealing with the freezing cold. Thankfully, I was able to get some landscape photos the day before ..read more

For many years, I had always dreamed of doing an engagement session on a sailboat. It’s unique, it’s fun, and the colors of the water contrasting with the sun really is intensified by film. So when Kelly and Austin suggested we do their engagement photos on his dad’s sailboat, my heart skipped a beat. It was also so personal being that this sailboat is Austin’s father’s pride and joy. I love the incorporation of personal elements like that into all wedding events- not just the wedding itself.
Kelly and Austin recently got married in Gulf Shores, Alabama and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t w ..read more

Cristina + Anthony decided the location they were vacationing, Hilton Head Island, would be the perfect backdrop for portraits with baby Louie. I don’t get to do outdoor newborn photos, as we often do them inside the nursery and the family’s home, but it was such a fun change of scenery. I wold love to take more newborn photos outside. Thankful as always to families that allow me to document these precious milestones in their life. And always grateful for my incredible film lab Photovision for handling my film with such loving care.
