Jai-mashia! (Glory to the Messiah!). This is the greeting used by our Nepali brothers and sisters. The common Nepali greeting is “Namaste” (I bow to the divine within you). Being a predominantly Hindu nation, there are many gods to choose from in Nepal. Most believe in the idea of a ishta devata (a “personal god”). This is the god with whom you share the strongest spiritual bond. One is called to look into himself to find his personal god. It is therefore not surprising that “Namaste” is the common greeting. Religion is indeed a culture-shaping phenomena. This is why RBS has been partnering wi ..read more

My name is Victor Claudio, and I was born and raised in the small state of Rhode Island. I've been married for almost 20 years to my lovely wife Suhylah, a true gift from God. The Lord has blessed us with two children, our daughter Isabella and our son Isaiah. The most important event in my life was when the Lord saved me back in February 2009. I stumbled across the preaching of Paul Washer on YouTube when the Lord grabbed a whole of me and changed my life. By the kindness of God, without my permission, the Lord granted me repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. I remember very specif ..read more

Hi, I’m Hope Kirk. I’m 24 and live in Livingston, MT with my parents, sister, and cat. I work as a receptionist at a local insurance office part time, do pet sitting almost full time on the side, love to travel and make new friends, and have graduated with a Certificate of Reformed Baptist Studies! If you had asked me ten years ago where I would see myself in a decade, I don’t think seminary would have made the list. I distinctly remember telling someone as a teenager that I couldn’t imagine even wanting to go to Bible college, because that sounded so boring. Little did I know, God had other ..read more

Outside of approximately 5 years, I have spent my whole life in Wabash, Indiana. From birth until my early 30’s, I was in and around the same local church: a restoration movement church with a long-standing history and impact in the community, as well as roots that run deep within my own family. I have many great memories within this church, including coming to faith in Christ, and I’m grateful for the many folks who evangelized and encouraged me in Him along the way. While my 20’s were spent teaching, coaching, and farming, by the time I reached my 30’s, I had a newfound and growing desire t ..read more

My name is Benenz Hitchcock. I live in Zionsville, PA. I have 5 children all under the age of 11 and I am married to my dear Krystle. I currently serve as the Pastor of the Bible Fellowship Church of Zionsville. I was raised in a home where we seldom went to church. I was involved in the youth group for a short time. I had no desire for the things of the Lord. To be honest, my desire was for the ladies and that is why I was a part of the youth group. I am sure I had heard the truths of Christ and what He did on the cross, but I was enjoying my own life and doing things my own way. I had found ..read more

“It is God who works in us, both to will and to work for his good pleasure,” and I am grateful that the Lord has given me the opportunity to study at the Reformed Baptist Seminary. I am also grateful that the Seminary trains and works to meet the specific needs of individual students who are in full time service in the United States and in other countries around the world. My name is Tim Killillay, and I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. I grew up in a Christian home hearing the gospel but rejecting it until one day God granted me repentance when I was 19 years old. God gave me a desire ..read more

I came to a Reformed understanding of the faith in my late teens as my father was introduced to these truths by a local friend. By God’s providence, I was not afforded a place to hide from what the Scriptures taught through my father’s constant listening to messages on God’s sovereignty, and talking about this good news, tears streaming down his face. Over the years, I knew this to be true, but did not think about it much. But as God worked out his plans for my life, his rule became increasingly obvious to me, especially when things did not work out the way I planned them. I learned to say i ..read more

I grew up in a Christian home, but my initial feeling of a call to ministry came while attending a Voice of the Martyrs conference in 2008 with my grandparents. However, God’s providence led me on a journey I never would have expected. I was attending Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL) at the time, pursuing a degree in elementary education. In 2010 I transferred to Greenville College (Greenville, IL) in order to play football. In 2012 I graduated with a degree in secondary English education. Then, this small-town, Wisconsin-raised young man moved to Tennessee to teach high schoo ..read more
