My family had the opportunity to share our reaction to the 2024 Canadian Federal budget by the Liberals that was just announced yesterday. Today I received a gift. We arrived home after a morning filled with errands. My husband took my 10 month old out to nap in her crib. I was left with sleeping 4 year old asleep in her seat. It was pouring out and so calming. So here I am, waiting in the car with her as she sleeps. This morning on my social channel I posted an image of my coffee and workstation at a nice empty coffee shop. I also captioned it saying how much I missed these mornings. Life has been a whirlwind with two. I thought the last months getting ready for her birth was chaotic but 5+ months later I’m still finding myself winded and not fully recovered. Sunny days are coming! And I’m so excited to be able to spend the days outdoors with Maya. Last summer we would go to the park in the mornings and enjoy lunch in the sun or even just go to the river for the day. One of my favourite mom hacks is to carry around reusable earth friendly utensils, straws and snack bags. Carrying around reusable utensils makes it easy to pick up lunch to enjoy outside.
