X Ambassadors made their way to the Bronson Theatre on Thursday night as part of their Townie North American tour. Lead vocalist Sam Harris walked on stage and immediately engaged the crowd, leading a call and response with the audience of the chorus of their hit “Renegade”. The theme of the performance centred around interpretations of home—whether representing nostalgia, peace, violence, uncertainty or humour. Thorgy Thor is a drag performance artist and classically trained musician, who you may also know as a TV personality on season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. The “Queen of Classical Music” brought fashion, wit and immense musical skill to the stage for Ottawa audiences.
