Our purebred Cavalier litter turned three weeks old yesterday. And they continue to be little chunks!! Their favorite activity is eating. But I guess that’s pretty normal for any Cavalier…lol! The Cavalier litter turns three weeks old tomorrow. And mom is feeding them pure butterfat milkshakes because they are all chunky-monkeys! Roly-poly sausage dogs for sure. Hopefully, once they start moving around more they won’t be so thick. I like a healthy Cavalier, but I don’t need them to turn out as big as our Presley puppy did. Well, things has been busy and I’ve been keeping a secret from you guys! We have new puppies, but they’re not Cavapoos. Shiloh has presented us with her first litter; a small litter of purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. (I found a nice, local dog to breed her too). They are all blenheim. There are two boys and one girl. I prayed that there would be at least one nice boy and one nice girl for me to keep. Now I have two boys to pick from! Awww…an update on our sweet Journey boy! <3 “Hi Jennifer – I thought I’d send a few pictures. He’s doing great! As you know, Hope is the princess around here. And Hope loves to sleep in weird places. Her favorite new place is a chair we brought home from my dad’s place. We actually brought two chairs home for my son and DIL who wanted them. But they don’t actually have a house to put chairs in since they travel for work. So one is in an upstairs bedroom and the other I slide over by the stairs in the living room, the only other available space for it. They’re pretty neat old chairs that belonged to my grandparents. I received a pupdate from one of our Pinewood family yesterday. She has Finn, formerly Mars from Joy & Asher’s purebred Cavalier litter (and brother to our Shiloh!) and she recently added Penny, formerly Independence from the Poppy & Sundae Cavapoo litter. Hey Jennifer! I realized I haven’t given you a pup date on my two wonderful pups. They are both doing great! They get along super well and play all the time. As some of you know, I mentioned finding some extra adults fabulous retirement homes and since we have Asher, I decided to let Niko go. Boy, did he land a gold mine! Yesterday was puppy delivery day for Sally’s pups. Although we only had two go home yesterday; Honey and Sweetie. Babe’s mom couldn’t come until Tuesday. Although I like when the whole litter goes home at the same time, sometimes we have to make some adjustments to the delivery schedule. And Lovey is staying until next Sunday for a special reason (more on that later). But before puppies went home, I met with our “Pinewood Retirement Home” crew; friends who are like family.
