Being a 55 year old woman I never thought I would have to relearn my body all over again. Before I hit 50 I never really gave much thought to my body changing so drastically. How it started vs. how it is going I started pole dancing in 2009 at the age of 42. During that time I was one of the oldest dancers in the classes I attended. Being the oldest person in a class of people in their 20s and 30s was a bit intimidating, but I did not want to give up. I found myself in a competition that only I knew I was in.
