We are delighted that following much evidence generation, zoom meetings, a team survey, a day of face to face team interviews, a site visit and a presentation to panel, 387 Vets has been reaccredited as a Platinum Investors in People (IiP) organisation. The accolade is current until March 2027, with annual IiP meetings to ensure we continue to meet our agreed standard. We can’t wait to go out and celebrate this amazing achievement as a team! The IiP framework assesses how well organisations perform at leading, supporting and improving at individual, sub team and whole team level. It addresses ..read more

Many of you will already have met or spoken with Laura Newell, the newest member of our 387 Vets and West Midlands Cat Clinic reception team. Laura joined us in February, coming directly from the customer care team at a Midlands-based veterinary referral centre. Whilst she enjoyed being the first port of call for attending owners and pets, she really missed her previous first opinion practice experience and in particular, the opportunity to get to know regular clients, to meet people’s pets and to see them on repeat visits as they move through their various life stages. Laura has 12 years’ cu ..read more

These gorgeous Basset Fauve De Bret puppies came in to see us for their second vaccinations and, as you can see, Emma couldn’t resist popping into their consult room to say hi! The two sisters Lena and Nora are absolutely adorable and super cuddly. We can’t wait to see how they’ve grown next time they come in! The post Happy days! appeared first on 387 Vets ..read more

A big hello to beautiful Harrison who has been in to see our Lead Nurse Cody for her 6 month check and parvo virus vaccination. It was especially lovely to see her as she was born here by emergency caesarean section! She is now just shy of 20kg so has grown hugely since she took her first breath at 387 Vets! We were super excited to receive a visit from a very familiar face together with a little baby this morning! Our Lead Receptionist Beth gave birth to gorgeous baby Ben back in January and brought him in today to say hello and collect some pet food at the same time. Ben weighed 5lb 12oz on arrival and both mum and baby are doing really well. Needless to say, we had to stop activity on reception for lots of baby cuddles. Please come and see us again soon! This is super cute puppy Kiko who looked totally adorable on his recent visit to see us. Our RVN Paige had never seen a baby Japanese Shiba Inu before, so couldn’t resist taking a snap with gorgeous Kiko. She brought him round to say hello to other members of the team too, which was great for his socialisation and fab for us too! The post Puppy love appeared first on 387 Vets ..read more

Meet three beautiful dachshund pups that have been in to see us this morning! The top photo is of 12 week old Frank who got very excited about seeing another friend in the waiting room and went over to say hi! Dobby is Frankie’s senior by 9 months. This is what you will look like Frank when you get a little bit bigger! And the second photo is of 9 month old Jasmine sitting beautifully on the scales at her weigh and worm appointment. Three happy pups! The post Dachshund puppy day! appeared first on 387 Vets ..read more

Care!

Please do take care if you are walking along the pavement past the front of the vets in the direction of the chip shop and Benton’s Lane. One of the pavement covers in front of the take away has totally disintegrated and is a dangerous trip hazard for pedestrians as well as a worry for owners walking their dogs. We have reported the issue to the Highways Department. Please watch your step! The post Care! appeared first on 387 Vets ..read more
